Knoxville Lodging Information
A block of rooms has been reserved at both the Holiday Inn Select and the Hilton (details below). The Holiday Inn Select is immediately above the Knoxville Exhibition Center, the venue for the Friday events, and adjacent to the Knoxville Convention Center, the location of the Thursday Icebreaker and Saturday night Awards Banquet. The Hilton is just one block away. See map of area.
The
Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, 1 Apr 07, the same weekend as the ASCE
Conference, so there will be a high demand for hotel
rooms in the downtown area. Please consider this and make your
reservations early. Also, please be aware that the marathon start time (for the past two years) has been 7am, and the runners begin lining up at 6:30am-ish directly outside the Holiday Inn on the Clinch Ave Bridge. This may affect those planning to depart early Sunday, since the exit from the hotel will be closed from about 6:30 am until after race has started and the runners are gone.
Parking Information
Automobile parking is available at the hotels (details below). Trailer and oversized vehicle parking will be available at the "The Blackstock lot" Parking Area 3 . This is a fenced parking lot and we will provide security from 5:00 pm Thursday afternoon through 9:00 am Sunday morning. Check the Local Maps for additional information regarding trailer parking.

Organization to receive the special group rate. All reservations
must be made by the cut-off date: February 28, 2007. All
guestrooms are guaranteed for late arrival to individual's credit card
or by advance deposit. Cancellation of individual reservations must be
made at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a charge of the first
night's room and tax.
